The eighties was a sucky decade, no doubt about it. Some of us tried to make the most of the awful fashion, music and television that was forced down our collective throat. One group of friends that overcame the shortcomings of the decade by forming an anti-elite gang, who terrorized the local shopping malls and theaters. This gang was called the repomen. they all hailed from Memphis, TN. They all either went to Ridgway High School or Central High School. They all sucked at basketball. But most of all, they were friends, at least throughout the decade and they still hold this bond today, even if they won’t admit it.
